We went to watch The Take That concert at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. My lovely friend Alex Toff plays drums with Belinda Carlisle and he managed to get us two comps.
It was an incredible show from start to finish despite the rain.
Each act was fantastic, with a wonderful collection of songs. I'm not sure any show would manage to top the Take That event.
It was mind blowing.
CHINA with the Some Guys Have All The Luck show.
Macau was our destination on the 17th June 2026. One Show on the Saturday which was lovely and a little bit of free time to explore Macau and Hong Kong. On the Monday we managed to take the ferry to Hong Kong to walk through the City, and head to the cable car that would take us to the Peak, for an incredible view of Hong Kong. It didn't disappoint. It was baking hot and despite the heat, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Ferry ride was exciting and the Cable car journey up and down was great. That evening Eileen who was looking after us, took us all out for a slap up meal. Excellent food and beverages and before we knew it, we were tucked up in bed, ready to spend the last day at the poolside, before leaving at 6.30pm for a 14 hr flight back to Heathrow. It's always good to travel with your mates. So many fun stories to tell, and some foods that I'd suggest to avoid next time.
